System size: 73.5jW
Solar Panels: 190 x 385W
Location: Drayton Valley, Alberta
Pembina Pipeline recently expanded their Drayton Valley division operation. As part of this expansion, they saw the financial benefit of installing solar panels during the construction/design stage when it is most cost effective to integrate a new system. The array they installed is is flush mounted to their metal roof and will generate over 70,000kWh/yr of clean, renewable energy.
This project highlights the great leadership of an Alberta-based oil and gas company to reduce their carbon emissions and operating costs through the use of solar panels.
The solar installation will be able to sell back excess energy generated to the grid and receive a credit from their energy retailer.
Kuby Energy was very proud to complete this project, in full, for the General Contractor, Clark Builders. This project is made possible by the forward thinking leadership of Pembina Pipeline
